Hi. Ran 2.4 yesterday. Luckily my dad drove me there. Quite happy with the result ba. Wah Hew yenn very pro leh. I think my good time this year is because of her. Run with her then got more motivation hehe. Anyway when I reach there I didn't realize the sec 3 haven't finish running. The sec 4 also only Shan joo. But as usual in Ping Yi style everyone arrived right on the dot hehe. After some briefing we ran. While I was running the same thought kept with me. But I think that's what kept me going. I jogged the whole way. Last time got stop for long periods and walk. Wait abit then my dad drove me home. Then we went out eat, then I went home. Alone at last. Watched the normal cartoons, then wanted to study, but then... dropped into a coma. I remember a few hours later my dad asking me wanna go blade or not. Then another few hours just suddenly woke up then sleep again. Finally woke up at 4am and heard the tv. I dun know how but when I heard a few words I immediately knew it was spiderman. I dragged myself out of bed to watch dun know why. To reply all my messages too I guess. Wah Farhana like star wars too I think. Said she found the whole comic and most of the message in capital letters lolx. Went back to sleep at 4.30 plus coz I scared tml sleep whole day again.
Wanted to wake up at 6 to eat and jog but in the end almost 9. Went to jalan paras there eat. The laksa quite good. I hope I can make this routine for every sunday and if can saturday as well. Went home, tidied up and study maths. Ok so enough bout this 2 days. Here's friday, a.k.a. speech day, and graduation...
Friday Day Zero
Didn't bother to bring anything to school today. Haha luckily I was right. The whole morning Remington just got some from different countries to talk about themselves then we went off at 10. He made Fung yi Siling and me stay back. Talked to them about the teacher thing but dun know why made me stay also leh. Only thing is he just say I failed the folio and I improved alot. And he wasn't even really talking to me. But he said lots of stuff like he neglected his family, fail to give enough attention to the youngest. When she wanna read book to him he fall asleep. Felt like crying but then dun wanna start otherwise cannot stop how?
Decided to skip the chinese thing and went to my sis house take the camera. The battery no power so I decided go 7-11 buy first. And yeah I really regretted it. Coz I saw the star wars comic!!!!!!!!!!! So cool!!!!!!! I forgot all about the comic. No money so only buy one and the princess stickers. Haiz after all these years I am still a total sucker for this kind of thing. Went home, bathe then go bubble tea shop eat coz Gus wanna play magic. Went 7-11 buy the second comic and went to school. Wah haha it was pleasantly busy with all the recording of the clarinets. Everyone helped! Hehe and finally got it done. Then fall in, then sectional music. But for me... I got my hair tied! Argh wanted to scream and struggle but decided instead to be a good girl. Felt stupid but yeah just left it on.Spent my last time conducting, tuning and such. Then we went in and had our free time. Read my comic with Dom. Wah so cool eh!!! First time I felt so absorbed into something. Spent the rest of the time talking and playing and laughing. At the back of my mind I knew that my time was getting nearer. All too soon we went to line up. And then the waiting began...
It must have been what, 15, 20 minutes we stood there, sedia holding our instruments? But it was great coz this feeling was familiar. Finally play finish then went back to the room. This time there was definitely the feeling of time slipping away. Ate a meager meal of nasi lemak. Made merry and all, took lots of pics and laughed and had a great time. Then suddenly it was the time for our last performance. It was fantastic! Everyone's emotions took a hand and contributed to the music we were playing. Yes music! Not noise! I wanted to cry but I held on. Just abit longer. Sec 4s got a song request so we play singapore rhapsody. It went unexpectedly well. I didn't expect to play into the storm but it was not bad. Really cool. And then... time to pack up. At least on the last day I keep the drum set. Me and Dom. Then I saw the girls start crying so start lor. There was so much emotion in the air. The atmosphere was so heavy with emotion you could almost touch it. Jiefang told me something I had totally failed to realise and found hard to believe. Haiz.
We went to fall in, gave the baton. Then Kaiqian and Norman gave us our gifts. The slipping time was so apparent. Crying in front of the whole band. Then finally it was time to go. Gave my parting words to the clarinetists but voice failed me in the end. Choked with emotion. Continued after half a minute. Took final pics which upon zooming the tears could be seen on the sec 4s. A group of 18 went to 85 to eat. At least it was a pretty happy time and we had to play the stupid numbers game again. This time can cheat coz just throw the food on the floor.
I will forever remember this day. The wild rush and mix of feelings. I hope everyone will treasure what they have. This loss is incredible. In time I will learn to cope. Thus ends another chapter of my life...
